"Opal earrings are the piece I'd wear to feel put-together on a slow day. This pair are pear-shaped, one small stone above and a larger below, both natural Ethiopian opal. I wore them to a Saturday morning market and they read blue on the way there, then flashed green in a café window when I sat down. Went with me to dinner that night too."
